The Trail is appreciative of all those who have stopped by our office in Glen Arbor the past few weeks. You have had many suggestions, many ideas, and we have enjoyed answering your questions and pointing you in the right direction. We have had well over 300 people in the few weeks we have been open. Many of you have asked about guided hikes next year and we are going to give that one some serious consideration.
Thank you also to those submitting photos or just dropping by the office to let us know what you are seeing. Things have been noticeably quieter the last few weeks and breeding season is passing us by. Right about this time of year, believe it or not, evidence of the beginnings of the fall shorebird migration begin trickling in which was certainly the case this week. Chuck and Linda Scribner sent us these photos of a pair of Willets and an Avocet standing together off Platte Point – quite the photo opportunity! Thank you again for all your contributions.
