The Benzie Scenic Turnout is also called the Arcadia Scenic Turnout and Inspiration Point by locals. This is a State-managed Scenic Turnout that offers tremendous views of Lake Michigan and the village of Arcadia to the south. This is a great spot for scoping waterfowl on Lake Michigan below and it is a quick stop and scope off highway M-22. There are various viewing platforms connected by a series of stairs. Recent sightings include White-winged Scoters and Long-tailed Ducks.
Directions: The Scenic Turnout is on the west side of M-22 approximately one mile north of the village of Arcadia, MI.
