Drive M-22 north of Glen Arbor to Bohemian Road (CR-669). Turn north (left) and drive about a mile to Lake Michigan. Just before you enter the parking area for the beach, turn left on the gravel Lake Michigan Road. Drive about 2 miles to an intersection with Good Harbor Drive, which goes off to the right. Drive straight. Turn left at the next road, which will take you to Shell Lake.
