We were starting to worry up here after new county snow records and an unbelievably long winter. It is confirmed. There are still grass and leaves and terra firma underneath the melting snows and we may have a spring after all. Phoebes and Fox Sparrows and Meadowlarks made their first appearances last week and a Townsend’s Solitaire was spotted at Port Oneida by a group led by Alice van Zoeren. Stay tuned.
